Alchemy marine is an award winning boat builder and restorer of classic and modern whether sail or power wood or GRP ,In 2020 we decided to launch our own range of boats ,The Alchemy 18 is based on US designer "Howard Chapelle's" Hampden 17 we wanted to produce a boat that was not only beautiful to look at ,But was easy to maintain and more importantly use,There are many options with the A18 designed to work with the type of sailing our customers intend, The 2 piece 8m aluminum mast makes trailing and handling easy, and our 12v electro hydraulic mast raising tabernacle means that the mast can be raised in 20 seconds with the touch of a button,If your sailing takes you up rivers and under bridges ,This system is a must, We've also developed the Rotating free standing mast concept so you can reef/deploy or stow the sail in seconds, meaning no clutter or lines in the cockpit ,Propulsion wise ,You can have a choice of small diesel ,Inboard electric ,or no engine at all, Our Objective is to build semi custom boats of exceptional quality and beauty ,and that their performance matches their looks,all boats use encapsulated 2 part buoyancy foam between mouldings and will stay afloat even when swamped, We are also building a None sailing Launch Version.All our A18 will comply to RCD cat C and ABS requirements, Please contact Us for more imformation and pricing
